being charged of unlawfully hiring the nanny is what she is more afraid of, I think

不是，我是说一开始。她不满意保姆，当天就fire，保姆说没有提前两周通知，要求一周工资补偿，她不肯，保姆不走，叫来警察，警察说开一周支票，她开给保姆了，后来把这个支票取消了。惹恼了保姆，保姆就来告她了。

我是说她一开始不取消支票，不就啥事没有了。最怕跟恶人打交道，把恶人惹毛了，后果更严重。一周工资顶多500吧，她两个孩子，一个还是新生儿，怎么有空去取消支票的。
