妈妈把爸爸拉回屋以后，家里一下子安静下来，我在给LL喂奶，小丫跟老公在外面
我爸还在愤怒的嚷嚷，说回国回国，实在呆不下去了什么的话(美国房间的隔音，不用我多说，大家估计都有感受，我家还是老房子，中间没有隔热棉，隔音更差)

我一面喂奶一面竖着耳朵听了好久，我爸妈对我跟我老公的意见都非常非常大

当然，主要还是带孩子方面

We had the exact same thing happened to us last Christmas.  My dad got really angry since we let the kid cry.  And then my mom pulled my dad away, but what she said is adding oil to the fire as well.

Since they were only there for 2 weeks, my husband didn't say anything, and apologized to my dad.  But if we are going to live together, i will have the headache too.

I agree, I don't believe in forcing them to eat.  This makes little Ya dislike eating even more. 

Time out is suppose to let them calm down, so not necessary working if you want them to do something.

I would suggest no snacks at all, and let her be hungry for few meals then see if it will get better. 

If really don't want her to go hungry.  Maybe take out stuff she really likes.  For us, we threaten to throw his toys out, or not having story times before sleeping, etc. 

Or if punishment doesn't work too well, try awards.  15 minutes TV time for finish the meal, etc.

I know. The whole reason we let my parents decide for the kids is because I know it's not for long.  I told my husband just let my parents do whatever they want. 

But if I do live with my parents, i know I would not be able to stand up to them for sure.  All hell will break if I do that
