雇主TERMINATE 的话应该算LAYOFF, 你可以拿失业金的 （到州里CLAIM UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT)，不知有没有遣散费？

你自己辞职的话好像就不能拿失业金了，遣散费就更没了。

公司termination 就是裁员 不会是fire 别担心 如果身份没问题 就再找好了 没什么大不了的

you should confirm with HR and your management (both) directly. Usually, they should have clearly define their potential action with you in the conversation - termination/lay off, or fire, because the nature and employee benefits are totally different.
