OPT HELP

I sent out the OPT application package at the end of May, however, I got the receipt date is June 15. I just check the status of reviewing I 765, it stuck on April 14, 2006 for Vermont Center. Right now, I accepted a offer which specificly start date is August 16, is anybody know how long it take to get the approval letter of OPT? Can I request expediating my case? Thanks. [em03]

What I heard was that if your OPT hasn't approved yet, you could take the receipt and offer letter to your local USCIS office and request a temporary EDA card. You could try to find a nearby office and call them first to make sure.

快的话不到一个月，慢的话也许要两三个月。如果二楼的mm说的可行，至少可以去问问

VT is especially slow. Mine is also pending...

I just check some policys about interim EAD card, it sound the local goverment only issue you interim EAD card when you have already filed your I 765 application to Vermont center and you got your receipt at least three month. It is clear that I am not qualified to this interim EAD card because I just got my receipt 1.5 monthes ago. The worst thing is it is so hard to make an appointment with local goverment by online base. Is there anybody know if I can get the interim EAD card even if my receipt day is within 3 monthes and how long will it take to get the interim EAD card from Local goverment.

I have already planed to find another job if this company which give me offer don't want to wait for that long. sign. [em03] [em03] [em03]
