salary and importance of the position

How correlated are employee's salary and the importance of his/her position ? Is it like that two persons will have quite different salaries even if they have the similar qualifications?

Or with the similar qualifications and background, two person's position titles are the same, but the salary is way way different. Does that mean the person with a much higher salary is more important figure in the company?

个人感觉工资是和自身条件，背景，工作经验有关的。同一个LEVEL的POSITION都有一个工资RANGE。经验多一些的可能会在RANGE比较高的一边。但同样的位置是不会出RANGE的。有些公司的RANGE很宽。这还和进公司前NEGOTIATE有关。ARGUE的人肯定比直接接OFFER的人挣得多一些。

这到不一定。工资高一些只能代表以前的经验多一些。还要看在这个工作发展的情况，没个人的潜力是不一样的。只要是同一个LEVEL的位置，提升机会应该均等，无论工资高低。
