上周面试了一家很小的公司，就6个人那种。不过那个公司的人都很厉害，是2个名牌商学院出来的MBA办的，其他的人经验也很丰富，个顶个那种。我还是愿意去他们公司工作的。我是今年5月会计硕士毕业，因为和老公团聚，毕业后和老公玩了一圈西海岸就回德州找工作了。找了一个半月了才有了这么一个小公司要，干的是entry-level accountant。哭。

今天经理给我发了信，说先给我part-time contractor,一个周20个小时，20刀一小时，先干到8月1号或者8月15号，再换成full-time, 加保险，福利什么的。当然，隐含的意思是如果我干不好就没有戏了。我不知道能不能跟公司谈h-1b的事情，哪怕我自己找律师出钱办，公司就签个字什么的就行了。眼看名额就要没了，估计撑不到这个月底，我的opt又是明年5月中到期，gap不是一般的长,5个月啊 .

请大家帮我看看，能不能现在跟公司说h-1b的事情？他们知道我是f-1需要办身份。但是面试时候没有说给不给我办，怎么办的问题。谢谢大家了！

另外，这个周末奉上找工作经验，如果大家不嫌弃我找个这么衰工作的话。希望大家都能尽快有满意的工作！

It seems hard for such a company to sponsor. I'm quite sure they have no idea you needed sponsorship.

Talk to them asap...I guess they donot have experience on H1-B sponsorships, and you donot have too much time to waste, it is in the middle of Jul already.

I assume they will contact a immigration lawyer before giving you a response. meanwhile you'd better talk to an experienced lawyer about your case too( see how much your case is qualified..e.g. will the company size be an issue?).

Things can be negotiable, especially for a small company.. I mean If I were you and I really like this job, I will do my homework on H1-B file process and explain detail info to the boss, so he knows what info he is supposed to provide and his responbilities..etc. Then you can sit down and talk..say you would appreciate his help on H1-B and your future good work will pay back...... blahblah..

As I know, being a H1-B sponsor, a company basiclly just need to provide some finicial and background info of the company. 

Also, try the best to let them pay for the fee!
