如果你不能在三十岁以前成功99%你就已经没有什么大的希望了

前两天在financial times看到一篇文章说到某行业现在很热门，居然提到的某个人是我师兄，说到他刚跳槽的signing bonus是七位数的英磅，他不过三十岁左右。that's the key. if you can not achieve your first step at this age, it's 99% of chance that your life is done.my friend in SAC earned >$5M last year;we knew each other since 1999, and we traded futures and options together. even we are busy now, we do always exchange ideas over the phone to benefit each other. one of my classmates now is the CEO of a shanghai local company listed in HK which is worth more than $2B,he is very busy, and we do seldom contact each other. however last year i got some inside information from him, and made 1700% return via trading the options of his company. en, also my young sister-in-law works for this company, kinda because of my relation.; another friend in shanghai is a private fund (0.6B RMB) manager, and made 30M RMB for himself so far this year, I was his mentor back in 1997 when I was a trader and he was a newbie. well, I did not get much from him , but in the future, who knows. at least he is taking care of my parent's money.etc... etc...

太狭隘啦。我觉得三十岁前是学习阶段和经验积累的时候，真正要看有没有成就要看三十岁后。有时我对有些公司有些人年纪轻轻24－－26岁就给一张名片“项目经理”“客户总监”。。。。一看挺吓人的，这么年轻，很多阅历和经验不足，还有心理都不成熟，心理承受也会是个问题。有点拔苗助长得感觉。每个人得一生还是像一天得太阳那样，30岁我觉得应该是早上11点多得时候，可能到30多快四十才是中午2点左右，一生最黄金，阳光最好的时候。

不过每个人人定义成功得概念不一样。

it totally depends on the industry. For instance, most of architects don't get famous until 50s, 60s, 70s, even after they passed away.

Everyone has different definition and perception about being successful. An individual can be making only $50K per annum and is considered as successful by his family and friends because he has been able to feed the whole family; another individual may be making $100 mil a year and is still considered as a loser because his family and friends are even more successful then him. His success does not match others’ expectations.

Success is not definite. It is relevant to one’s own situation. Recognizing who we are, what we can do to make ourselves better individuals are way more important than using other people’s perceptions about success to measure our own achievements.

It's the first time I see someone openly boasts for making money by insider trading. He or she should spend years of life in prison if the law is respected.

It's neither legal nor moral.
