上个星期二 电话面试 进展不错 然后要和我约on site interview的时间

当时由于已经订好星期三外出旅行一个星期 于是说一个星期后再联系

今天发信要约时间面试 结果收到 email如下

这个跟你旅游关系不大.

就是说,HR不会因为你旅游一周而错过一个他们认为需要的和合适的人选.

I had similar experiences a while ago. My guess is that your department is doing its own recruiting independent of HR, but you were told to submitted your resume through their coporate HR website. So if you didn't specifically apply for a position that's listed in their internal system, you'll receive this system generated email. Give the hiring manager a call, I'm sure it's just a inefficiency within the company. Good luck!

其实是我们学校把我的简历forward给他们的 我压根也没申请这个工作

网上查了一下 距离我这里比较近 而且电话面试的时候告诉我 他们在中国有division

所以才感兴趣了一下 结果 唉

it might be possible they find somebody else, if you are not the best candidate they look for

but as others said, it wouldn't hurt to call the one who interview you and clarify that
