How many of you got an offer before

your defense or graduation?

I've tried sending job applications but got very very few responses... I feel soooo discouraged, frustrated and depressed: not sure this is because I haven't completed my study or what?! [em06] [em06] [em06] Hope once I finish my study, situation will change...

MM耐心等待，公司的RESPONSE都很慢，有得要好几个月才能把RESUME递到HIRING MGR 手上。6-12月内找到工作都很正常。

公司的反应就是很慢, 我的同学两三个月前投的简历,, phone interview, onsite, 到现在才拿offer.

如果你是热门专业,, 回音很少,, 建议好好改改自己的简历和cover letter. that is all the employer can know you.

I am a CS major and got my job around my graduation time on 2003. But I started to send out my resume (such as to online website) at least six months earlier. I got some response a few months later. My first serious onsite interview was two months before graduation. I got the offer on my second interview two weeks after graduation. I consider myself very lucky because I am just a SOSO programmer without that much experience.
