Let us spend a little time analyzing the mentality of choosing between being a professional woman or a house wife:

1. How many percent of women chose to be a house wife due to laziness?

2. If the husband asked to stay home, would the woman see him differently?

3. Is it wrong for a man to restrict the spending of the wife given:

    a) the wife is a mild consumer, who spend less than $100 on personal things (clothings, jewerly, cosmetics, etc).

    b) the wife is a moderate consumer, who spend between $100 - $500 on personal things.

    c) the wife is a aggressive consumers, who spend more than $500 on personal items.

4. If the man post expresses dismay on the housewife's spending, should he also spend cautiously.

5. Do most women work for trying to not get disconnect from the society, or they work for being able to be independent financially?

So much to talk about maybe post more questions later. Please help to answer some of these issues.

Somehow I feel you can get more answers from other boards than from here.

First of all, I would never consider that women choose to become housewives because of laziness. I feel being a housewife is a tougher job than the day job I am doing now.
