一些公司老有这个问题，一直很confuse应该是yes or no.....谁来帮我解答一下吧。

My understanding is that you have to be a US citizen first for obtaining any secuirity clearance. You can try to google it.

security clearance 是对那些负责政府项目人的要求，也就是说，一种背景调查，大概要18个月，很复杂，如果你的工作要触及到美国的国家项目，就要进行这个调查的；但是回报也很高，如果已经过了government clearance 的人的收入，都是原来的至少两倍

need to be a u.s. citizen to obtain security clearance... I have a friend who failed the security clearance simply because his parents are in China even though he is a u.s. citizen...

我们中国人很少有这个的　　至少要有公民身分，　不过申请联邦工作的时候才会要求，　一般公司不要求的。
