If the company is not near your location and you have to pay for your trip, what will you do?

But if you asked them, probably you will not even get into next interview process.

And sometime small companies don't even know H1B. Sigh!

Plus I am accounting major.

我的原则是, 问就说, 不问就给offer的时候再说....不过已经有两个offer飞掉了... [em03]

So the conclusion is if the interviewer asks, you tell them. Otherwise, just wait until the last step. Right?

I know a lot of people here already got a job, so please tell me your experience

My current employer is so nice that when I expressed my concerns of immigration status, they immediately assured me that I would have their full support of H1-B and green card application during our initial contacts. They paid all expenses for interviews and H1-B application. I think big companies would always reimburse you at least your expenses of interviews.Just FYI.

以前我都是人家问，我就说，人家不问，我会问人家人事。我觉得一般不办就是不办，除非想练面试，否则不必浪费彼此时间。不过你还是如果人家不问，你也别问了，听说又开始不给办，后来又给办的。不过那样的例子非常非常少。

这个要看具体情况了，你的经济状况如何，你对这个面试地把握多大，如果附近有可玩的，或者朋友，尽量还是去，多了次机会，还可以当旅游或者访友，就不觉得经济上亏了。如果自己出钱，收据一定留好了，如果面试成功了，一般可以报销的。最差也可以接受offer时把钱要回来。
