很想知道以前没有任何统计专业背景的人可以学统计吗？统计主要学啥？好学吗？

只要以前是学理科的我想都没问题吧，文科要稍微吃力一点，也不是学不来的

我也是一个学统计的

就考过一门base

还得很低的分

不过看工作性质了

药厂得sas programmer对sas 要求很高

1) 是否一定要买那本$119的base programming呢?The book is a necessity. Not only it helps you go over the basics, but also tells you what will be covered in the exam along with the sample questions.

2) 还有这种证书是几年有效阿? Only three years.

3) 大家是否都是连着一起考base and advanced?比如5月份先考base,然后8月考advanced? You don't have to, follow your own study pace. It helps in finding the job, but not the guarantee.

如果全天复习BASE,大概要多久?想趁着暑假, 把BASE考了.还有,一般硕士毕业的,能考出ADVANCED的多吗?是不是有个BASE的证就可以了?

因为一共能利用的时间也只有两个暑假了,第二个暑假已经在找工作了.我觉得要考两个证的话,SCHEDULE挺紧的.

另外, 其实我是挺喜欢做精算这一块的,也是需要考证. 有人已经考过精算一级了吗?能否介绍点信息或经验?

BTW,这里学统计的MM好多啊.
