I have sent out a handful of resumes for a couple of months. I also ask my American friend to proof-read my cover letter and resume. But I haven't heard any single call for 2 months. What could be wrong?

at least u should get a feedback( phone call or so) per every 20 CVs u sent out

nod. there are tons of books in the bookstore that provides guidelines on how to resumes, MM should take some time to read at least one book.
