今天和一个合作的consultant谈事情,10多分钟的谈话,他讲了一堆东西,结果,我听起来,中心思想就是一句话就能总结的。
是他太talkative,把本来一分钟就说清楚的东西,反反复复绕了好几遍,
还是说,应该学习他这样,我看很多美国人很能说,但是仔细听听就是把同一个意思,重复好几遍

觉得挺好的,就是学不来。
hehe, NT type hates redundancy. But the drawback is that not everyone can get you in one sentense. So it is good to apply some redundency, though not too much. I found sometimes it helps to repeat the talker's core sentense to hint him that you've got his point, and that he does not to emphasize it anymore.

hehe, NT type hates redundancy. But the drawback is not everyone can get you in one sentense. So it is good to apply some redundency, though not too much. If someone talk to me for an hour only giving me one sentence of content, I difinitely will hint him to stop next time.
