下星期要去California State University, Los Angeles面试一个assistant professor职位。

不知道JM们对California school system有什么了解吗？现在去加州穿长袖套装，气候合适吗？不知道有什么需要注意的吗 ？

气候合适，就该穿长袖，：）

我以前和一个california state university的教授聊过，他说他们面试的时候主要都问教课方面的东西。比如什么课教过没有，什么教科书看过没有，等等。还有说中国人的一个弱点就是不爱说，比如人家问一本书，就只会说看过了，不能总结复述一遍。当然讲太多了也不好，会有反作用。

不过他不是los angeles分校的，希望能够有用，：）

- Ca has two state systems: UC and Cal State.

- This time is perfect to wear suit, shirt/shell.

- Since this is academic position, I think it's more relaxed than corporate. But might be more knowledge based.

- Also, do not wear a long high heel; they might show you around the campus, and you will regret if doing so
