h4也不能工作，除非有绿卡

H4好像也不可以工作阿，
如果可以撑到明年4月就可以留在美国了吧，只是不能拿钱，是吗？

Does someone could give us some advice? I have the same problem next year if I cannot find a job quickly. 

I am wondering which company could allow you to take five months vacation, no matter paid or unpaid. never heard of that.

是都不给F1了？还是个别的？

现在只希望能增加名额。。。。

我的是明年7月初到期，有三个月的gap，到时候要转成H4了；不知道有没有jms知道转H4的一些手续呢？

现在的办法就是不要主动提到gap的事情，很多公司可能不是特别清除这些细节；问道你的签证身份什么的，就告诉他们你现在工作没有问题，因为是F1，不过将来你需要公司sponsor H1。。。

只要这段时间有了工作经验，什么都好说，最差就是这个公司黄了，可以找下家么，然后告诉下家可以从10月1号工作。。。

当然gap其间的身份要靠转F2，H4维护，哎，好麻烦。。。

那single的怎么办呀?

啥时候的事情？就算给f1得话，也得读满9个月-1年，才能申请cpt.

说来说去就是这个gap一定要用一种身份来补上是吗？比如4月份递交申请，然后H1B pending,就不能待在美国是吗？

okay, i been looking into this and i found out that it's not possible to go back to school and use CPT or OPT. because in order to apply for CPT and OPT, one has to be a full-time student enrolled in a degree program for at least one year.

so that option is out.

i've been thinking of all the possibility and there is no way that we can work during the gap. the best senario is we can legally stay in u.s. under a student status or go back to china for that time frame.

but i thought most mm has 2 years of OPTs b/c you get 1 year for under and 1 year for master

master graduates also have more quotas

已经很优势了

这边读under的还是少吧,一般也就都一个OPT.
