BLUE LOTUS ABSOLUTE
Nelumbo nucifera Wildcrafted, India, Solvent Extracted
This rarest of Lotus Blossoms yields an ethereal absolute. When appropriately diluted, it is light, delicate in aroma, not as floral as the more common Pink or White Lotus Blossoms. but its effect on the spirit is amazing.
An "must have" for anyone working with the chakras, doing energy work, or using the oils as a part of their spiritual journey. Anne writes of feeling as though a tube of clear blue light and love was opened, inside her. of knowing that she was directly connected to a spiritual being, "I felt calm, peaceful and centered, but most important, connected and loved. A spiritual experience not to be missed." Anne describes the scent of the Absolute as that of a gently moving pool, being fed by the purest of waterfalls, filled with the scent of fragile flowers from heaven.
Debi speaks of feeling her third eye gently spiraling open. The first client to receive a sample of this exquisite absolute wrote of feeling her crown chakra opening, and filling with beams of clear light. Others say that Blue Lotus is associated with the fifth chakra. The Blue Lotus is said to be the flower of self potential and self-actualization.
I don't feel this oil the way some others have. But when I play with it I envision a clear stream, laughing its way over stones...with flower petals floating on the surface. A peaceful and safe scene, but lighthearted...joyful.
Blue Lotus is not for everyone. It is rare, and costly. We only have a little, and are offering it in limited sizes, while supplies last, undiluted, and in a 10% dilution in Fractionated Coconut Oil. (Our usual Jojoba just seemed to heavy for this delicate oil, after testing in Jojoba, Frac, and perfumers alcohol, we offer it to you in Fractionated Coconut Oil.)
Perfume writer Victoria, of Bois de Jasmine, writes of our Blue Lotus Absolute:
Blue Lotus strikes me as having a very unique quality--translucence paired with tenacity. I find that it starts out with a slightly pungent crisp note (not unlike White in some ways, which actually reminds me of autumnal leaves), however immediately crispness melds into transparency underscored by a subtle floral note and perhaps a touch of verdant foliage. The visions of water you described are very apt. I did a blind test, and this is exactly the reaction I had.

PINK LOTUS ABSOLUTE
Nelumbo nucifera Wildcrafted, India (Tamil), Solvent Extracted
How can the same species of flower offer two so different absolutes? Initially, or undiluted, the Pink Lotus absolute has a spicy crispness, that becomes more floral the more we dilute it. This is my favorite of the Lotus absolutes, I love the soft floral note it reveals when diluted waaaay down.
Debi says as it dries down she can feel it strengthening the solar plexus, the third chakra, seat of the will. It is, initially, sharper than the blue lotus, but has a relaxing, calming effect. She can feel it warming her body with its sweet dry down. I feel it relaxing and supporting my spirit. Anne says her inner child craves it...wearing Pink Lotus as a perfume makes her feel as though she is in the middle of a tropical botanical jungle...the garden island of Kauai comes to mind. The Pink Lotus is traditionally associated with the second chakra. As such, it is recommended for healing imbalances of sexual energies.
More than any absolute we offer, the Pink Lotus truly demands dilution. Straight from the bottle it is almost overwhelming, only as we diluted it down did its unique charm unfold. We are fascinated by the changes Pink Lotus seems to go through with every dilution. We have bottles of 10, 7.5, and 5% dilutions in Perfumers Alcohol. All are lovely; we each have our favorite; it is our truly chameleon. We only have a little, and are offering it in limited sizes, while supplies last, undiluted, and in a 10% dilution in Fractionated Coconut Oil. Please experiment with different dilutions to experience for yourself the multifaceted charm of this fascinating absolute.
Victoria of Bois de Jasmine writes of our Pink Lotus Absolute:
Pink Lotus (dilution in perfumer's alcohol)
Like other lotus oils, the initial accords are slightly earthy and pungent, yet Pink Lotus sheds them very quickly to reveal a unique floral heart. I imagine that dilution speeds up the process by which the floral aspects start to shine. Nevertheless, it is evident that Pink Lotus oil is the most floral of all the three. Its floral aspect is a quiet aquatic floral, majestic and regal, rather than lush sensual floral like ylang ylang or jasmine. There is no sweetness associated with the delicate heart of this oil, rather profound clarity and freshness ornamented by slightly earthy herbal accords. Although these herbal notes fade to make floral heart stand out, they are always in the background, giving strength to the delicate beauty of the flower, much like the strong stem holding a lotus blossom. Perfume melds into the skin leaving a beautiful lacy veil of these floral and herbal notes behind.
As times goes on, it seems to lift from the skin, forming a delicate misty veil over the wearer. The presence of something wonderful and enchanting, with a hint of balmy floral freshness and perhaps a mere drop of sunny sweetness, is quite unlike anything I have experienced. Directly on the skin, the herbal notes are evident, albeit very soft, yet the overall aura of this perfume is pure floral magnificence of lotus.
I cannot but agree with you in picking this one as my favourite in terms of wearability.

WHITE LOTUS ABSOLUTE
We've been waiting for almost a year for this lovely to arrive. Less pungent and floral than our Pink Lotus, and not as light and crisp as the Blue, White Lotus has a clarity and smoothness all its own. It couples a subtle aroma with a powerful emotional and spiritual effect. All who have sampled it spoke of the feeling of serenity and tranquility it brings. One tester says that it puts her mind in a state of relaxed awareness, while another said that she feels like a veil has been lifted, she is given a deeper understanding, a brightening of vision. Everyone who sampled it spoke of either the clarity of its aroma, or the feeling of clarity it produced in them. A wonderful meditation oil, said to be associated with the crown chakra. As such, it may help connect the mind and the heart.
Available undiluted, and in a 10% dilution in Fractionated Coconut Oil.
Victoria of Bois de Jasmine writes of our White Lotus Absolute:
White Lotus
I have to confess that on the first try of diluted oil (10% dilution), I was not particularly enchanted. It seemed to be rather pungent, especially after trying magically transparent and crisp Blue Lotus. However, I could not just put it out of my mind and kept returning to my little vial for some more. The changes this oil undergoes are remarkable! The first impression is of diving far too deep in the pond and emerging with the smell of the silt on the skin. After about 10 minutes the pungent earthy notes wash away by a clear crisp accord. It is as if one witnesses lotus blossom unfolding slowly, little by little allowing one to smell the subtle floral heart. Unlike Pink and Blue Lotuses, this one makes you wait much longer for its magic to become evident. Yet, the wait is certainly worth it. I can just imagine what its uses for perfumery might be--to add a dark mysterious note, or to ground more delicate floral notes. However, it is at its most amazing as a therapeutic, emotional oil, because it just seems to fill one with serenity and clarity (which is what I find of other Lotus oils as well). Interestingly enough, as the oil dries down, it seems to hide its floral aspect once again and veil them by soft silt-y notes. It is simply amazing in terms of its complexity, like a true perfume created by nature--top, middle and base notes present.
