The first one looks better to me. My sewing machine is another model from Simplicity. I bought it three years ago for $200. It's very good to use. I selected that sewing machine just based on online reviews. Hope this is helpful.

第一台可以缝边么？就是把布的边边给走一下免得滑丝的那种。我不知道英文该怎么说。。
