I want to ask "loveydovey" mm......

"loveydovey" mm, I'm very new here, coze my BF and I just decided to have our wedding this summer or Fall. I started to do some research yesterday and found your post.

SINCE I live in Los Angeles as well, your information seems very helpful for me. I'm wondering if you would like to share your experiences with me.?

I have one question now. I LOVE lindly-scotte house. However, I know that it's a pretty popular wedding location. Was it some weekend avaliable when you book it last year? How much is your estimated cost for the site (including everything)?

Thanks.

Hi!  Congrats on your engagement!

You can call the house for availability, but when I booked in December for May 2007, no Saturdays were available till September.  Booking for a Sunday is 300 dollars less than Saturdays ($2000).  The entire cost depends on which menu you choose- it starts at $25 per person up to $50.  The food ranges from chicken to salmon.  The ceremony site is like 200 to 300 dollars.  The cake is included in the deal- you just meet with their contracted bakery, who can do anything you want (fondant cakes cost extra).  The total price includes a wedding day on-site coordinator, set up/ clean up, food, reception and ceremony site, organist, wait staff.  Drinks are extra, except for the champagne toast.  For me, for about 120 people, total will be about $8000.

Hope this helps!
