婚纱那么珍贵神圣的东西，很多mm都自己买了。但是我总觉得穿一次以后还得找地方储藏、清洗什么的，我有些犹豫是否要租个婚纱拍拍照算了，但是去买个很好看的礼服，可以婚宴穿，或者以后在隆重的场合穿。不知道jm们有什么想法。

如果在美国租婚纱，大家一般去哪里租呢？

Renting is great if you have nicely proportioned body.  If you are a shortie like me though... not too much choice except to buy and have alterations done...

I am in midwest too (Chicago area), and just started shopping around. Beside David's Bridal, is there any good store for wedding gowns?

In chicago, I looked at David's Bridal as well, but didn't like their stuff.  I heard Eva's bridal is good (i know two girls who bought their dress there). Payless bridal is okay.  If you are looking for really high end stuff, i went to Priscilla of Boston in OakBrook and they have some really gorgeous dresses, but really pricy. 

I bought my dress in St. Louis.
