To share some helpful websites for Chinese American brides:

www.dimsumwedding.com  This is helpful for brides from LA area, good recommendations for vendors.

www.chinabridal.com  This has a good forum for discussions and questions for fellow brides.

www.chopstickbride.com Brides on this forum are very helpful, though as with chinabridal.com, some vendors post messages as well. 

Of course there are the American sites: www.theknot.com and www.theweddingchannel.com both of which is great for planning and getting ideas.  The forums on these are helpful as well.

Here's a site I found some modern elegant (but expensive) qi pao, even for bridesmaids.  I'm thinking about these:
