During the ceremony, the Justice of Peace will ask that you take off your engagement ring and place it in a plate that she/he will provide.  The groom will then put the wedding ring on you (wedding ring should be closest to your heart, so it's on the inside)...followed by the engagement ring.  Congratulations!
