I just recently got engaged and have some very naive questions about my engagement ring: this is a pic of my ring

1. How often should I have the ring cleaned and the prong checked/tightened?

2. My ring turns quite a bit on my finger and I want to get the ring resized. However, I was told that one's finger shrinks quite a bit during the winter time and that may be why my ring is loose now. Hence I am afraid that the ring will be too tight once summer comes around. What do you guys recommend? How tight should the ring be?

3. I have heard of people switching the diamond during procedures such as cleaning or resizing. My ring is from Tiffany and I think they should be reliable. Howver, I am still very scared about giving them my ring for two weeks for resizing. What do you guys think?

You can do it at Tiffany. Then you don't have to worry about it.
