今年买了个便宜的dental insurance, 开始一切都很好。

后来做了个“molar root canal”. 准确地说，到目前只做了一半。就是已经杀了神经，洞洞临时堵上了。接下来，我的牙医不能做，要找specialist, 把洞洞永久堵上，还要装个crown. 可是呢，看specialist 的开销，保险不能cover.

这可怎么办呢？要去看specialist, 就要自己出至少几百刀。不去呢，已经做了一半，这个临时堵上的洞洞不知道能挺多久。恐怕挺不到我回国，或明年换贵的保险吧？

怎么办好呢？

我老公看牙都花了2000多刀了呢!

ROOT CANAL 和 CROWN一起做是比较贵的,我听说即使有牙保险还得自己出些钱的.所以几百刀不足为怪!

I went to see Dentist just now, and I have to pay over $600 myself for root canal, post, and crown after insurance.

My Dentist say it is fine to do Filling instead of POst and Crown, then that will be only $40 after insurance. it is not permanent solution though.

How much do you have to pay so far (before seeing specialist)?

600 is not bad to have crown, root canal even with better insurance.

Most insurances only cover a percentage for such services.
