From time to time, I saw japanese anime on these cable channels:

The Action Channel (Starz or Encore): showing series like Blue Seed right, X
Showtime Beyond: they show Dirty Pair (old and new) a lot, just watched it two
days ago
I heard that The SciFi channel has a long history of showing anime movies, but
never got to see them.
