有门课是用的网上ALEKS，上面有习题要做。其中一题我搞不清楚到底是让俺干啥。上来问问大家吧。

The following adjusting entried were journalized on DEC 31,2004. If a reversing entry is needed, journalize the reversing entry on JAN 1, 2005. Make sure to enter the day for each separate transaction.

接着下面是一个表，

Date Accout title Dr Cr

Dec31 Rent Expense 1000

Prepaid Rent 1000

31 Interest Receivable 1200

Interest Revenue 1200

然后下面就出了一个表，格式跟上面一样。而且要求是Debit的数值在同一colum,credit的在一竖行。

account title只有rent expense之类的，并没有total这样的选项。我应该怎么做呢？而且前面的时间应该写成Dec31还是Jan 1呢？

ask you to write the reversing entry ah. The reversing entry is used to simplify the recording of transactions in the next accounting period. All prepaid items for which the original cash transaction was debited or credited to an expense or revenue account should be reversed. Sorry I cann't type Chinese now but I guess you can refer to your intermediate accounting book for details.

After 12/31/XXX, prepaid expense has been used. Receivable has been collected. I think it should be:

Rent Expense: 1000

Prepaid Rent 1000

Interest Revenue 1000

Interest Receivable 1000
