Thanks for your suggestion. I will definitely use faux blind in most rooms because it is inexpensive and it functions well(sun blocking and privacy). However, it is in lack of variety and boring.
So i am considering other window treatments in Master bedroom and family room.
Roman shade is quite expensive. I might chose some othe curtains instead.

If all your purpose is to block the sunlight and also have full privacy, my suggestion is to get wood blinds. For some windows in our house we have these sun screen installed coz we wanna some light and we wanna see the outside view at the same time, and as i said earlier, we have to install another layer of roman shade to gain some privacy at night. But for some other windows, we just intalled the wood blinds, all depends upon ur need.
