when you have no kids, no house, and are a foreign student, there are very few tricks you can play to claim more taxes back. So as long as you know the basics, no need for consulting an CPA lah. All your questions can be answered here or mitbbs.

it only helps in the case where the customers have complicated sources of income and expenses. In the case of a F1 student w/ no dependents nor mortgage, an CPA cannot play magic.

trust me, I've studied federal income taxation, corporate taxation, partnership taxation, and international taxation. You need to have a stage where you can play before you can impress the audience.
