F1-> I485 pending, which form should i use for tax return?

I am a F1 student but filed green card application last summer, right now the status is i-485 pending. and my I20 expired on Dec. 2005. I also applied for EAD card based on my green card application. So, my question is "May I still use 1040NREZ and 8843 form for tax return for 2005", if not, would you please let me know what form should I use? Thanks very much!

When your i-485 is pending, i believe you are still holding F1 status. Then you should be able to use 1040NREZ, otherwise, 1040 is the form to use. Do check with your immigration lawyer and the tax expert though.
