夫妻俩人的话，是必须每人开一个账号（每人$4000)，还是可以两个人在一起开个joint account(两个人$8000一年）?

另，能推荐好的开户地方吗？firstrade 怎么样？

Roth IRA is $4000/year per person. You can elect to have joint account. You could open up an account from Vanguard or Ameriprise. One of the things to consider is their fees.

据我所知，ira是个人退休账户，是不能开联合账户的。你只能指定你的配偶是受益人。难道我搞错了吗？

That's what I thought. IRA account can't be held jointly. You can name your spouse as the beneficiary though.
