Because USS Ronald Reagan homeported in San Diego on 07/23/04, we had a chance to enjoy the firework. Unlike July 4th, not a lot of people knew. So I had a wonderful evening.

The picture was taken in Harbor island, which is located across harbor drive from the San Diego International Airport. This island is one of the best locations to view San Diego skyline (all short though). Walk along the island is also very relaxing.

All picture were taken by Canon EOS 10D + EF 24-70f2.8L
@ 70mm f11 bulb setting.

I got it from BH last year. The price for it was 1499.99$
I recommend you to sonsider Digital Rebel (300D)
The price is about 800$, including 18-55mm lense.

你的烟花拍得不错啊。 我也尝试过很多次了，但是都不是很成功。每次都是out of focus.
我用了三脚架。 也开了大光圈（ 用的是光圈优先）

我拍烟花的一点经验：
1) 一定用三角架
2）事先对好焦， 一般是infinite
3) camera setting:
ISO 100, f8-f11, Bulb setting
4）看见烟花即将在空中散开时， 按下快门，一直到这朵烟花散去。
曝光时间 一般在2-4s.
