Question about visa to Europe

If I got Italy visa, but will first land in France, is that ok?

any experirence?

You just need one Schengen (hopefully it is right spelled) visa for going to both France and Italy. If you mostly stay in Italy, then you should go to Italian embassy to apply the visa. You can go to a lot of countries if you have the visa. Go their website to check out more information.

I know it is ok to apply only one visa for almost all the countries.

However, in Italy's official website, it says you have to have Italy visa to land in Italy.

I plan to land in France, I don't know whether it is the same rule

make sure France is also your main stay country. I remember someone get problem at France embassy because of it even though France is the first country they will visit.
