我们的DC吃喝玩乐大群已经有80人，所剩名额不多，有想加入的写文章也要尽快了。
群内其他同学组织了一个DC地区亲子群，现在亲子群基本已经满员了，想加入的请短我你的微信号，还有空位的话能加的话就加，如果满了列入waiting list，等到群里有人一直不说话被踢出的时候会按顺序加入，谢谢。

夏日傍晚的好享受：免费露天电影
夏日的晚风吹拂，日落后吃完野餐，躺在草地上和家人朋友一起看一场露天大片，直到星光漫天。啊，多么美好（抒情一百字），而且这一切（除了自带的野餐）都是不要钱的呀！不要钱！下面就是我的倾情奉献：华府和北维州免费露天电影汇总。我列出的电影时间和片名都是今年（2014）的，我会列出这些活动的网址，明年同学们可以继续查看新的时间，年年有此时，岁岁有今朝！
我在微信群里提到免费露天电影的时候，发现有的同学还没接触过，那我就先从网上盗个图来直观的说明一下这是怎么回事：
华府地区的露天电影一般是这样的
1.不要钱 2.在草地上
3.随便坐，随便躺
4.电影开场的时间一般在日落（8:30pm左右），所以上班的同学们也有充分的时间去看电影
5.可以自带食物（旁边一般也有餐馆）。我一般和朋友先带野餐在电影开始钱在草地上吃，吃完了开始看电影
我建议去看露天电影带上这些东西
1。毯子或者折叠椅子
2. 吃的（不能带酒）
3. 驱蚊子的东西。我还下载过一个免费驱蚊APP，据说是发射蚊子才听的见的频率。反正我没被咬，不知道是不是APP起了作用。
下面就是我所知道的华府地区今夏电影场地
District of Columbia
1. Screen on the Green (National Mall)
既然在大华府， 去在地标National Mall的草地上，以夜色中象灯泡一样的国会山为背景看一场电影吧。这感觉是不是就象在天安门广场跳广场舞？

a) 早间卡通
时间：夏季每周星期六早晨9点
地点：Strawberry Park, Mosaic district, 2910 District Ave, Fairfax, VA 22031
交通：Dunn Loring metro 或者开车，有充足的免费车库停车位
早间卡通内容是“The Flinstones”, “The Jetsons” 和 “Scooby Doo”
除了卡通以外，电影屏幕旁边就有一个超受小朋友欢迎的戏水喷泉。建议小朋友里面穿着游泳衣来。父母也带一个大毛巾方便玩水后擦干。另外屏幕边还有卖冰激淋和咖啡的。看卡通，戏水，和吃冰激淋，美好周末的开端！

吃货吃完，才想起来，需要运动来帮助消化一下，再推荐一些hiking的信息。
1. 除了前面mm们提到的Great Fall Park，还有很多别的park和trail可以走走逛逛。有两个website有很多hiking的信息，可以根据难度大小选择各种不同的trail。如果有老人孩子，也能找到比较温和的路线。从这些网站还可以下载到之前走过的人所用的map，方便第一次去的朋友，不会迷路。

附录：7月19日，群内组织小范围桃源（Pacific Cafe）：聚餐一次，9大人1小孩，点了如下的菜，花了135刀税前，众皆惊呼便宜好吃，绝对值得推荐，下面是点评总结：
需要预定的大菜：八宝鸭受到天南海北的食友一致称赞（38刀一只，需要提前48小时预订），量极其大，里面塞的是糯米很饱人，建议6人以上聚餐再点，我们昨天还剩下了一点没吃完。七彩鲈鱼丝（38）味道清淡，不过好像不是很惊艳，大家评价尚可的一道菜。这两道菜都是需要提前48小时预定的。
其他可以直接去点的菜：
咸蛋黄虾仁味道不错，不过我和版二觉得有点咸，其他人觉得咸淡适中，也很推荐。
日式炸豆腐，反映很好，秒光，我都没尝到就没了，估计很好吃。
点心类我们点了萝卜糕，反响不错。
还点了一个什么鱼丁（不好意思名字记不起来了），和七彩鲈鱼丝很像，也是清淡路线的。

Chincoteague Island在ocean city的南边40miles左右，也是夏天去海滩避暑的去处之一。它和ocean city之间隔了著名的assateague state park，和ocean city相比，chincoteague游客少很多，没有那么热闹，适合户外运动爱好者。
住：
Chincoteague Island属于非常安静的一个小town，整个小town就座落在chincoteague national wildlife refuge门口，住宿的原则不多，条件最好的酒店应该是hampton inn，非常干净而且包早餐。
吃：
Chincoteague大概就只有5，6家饭店，基本需要订位等候，而且味道也一般，所以我并不建议大家去光顾那里的饭店。Chincoteague island上面有两家口碑很好的卖海鲜的小店，一家是Gary Howard seafood，另一家是captain zack's carryout. 这两家都是要外卖回去吃的，不过他们的海鲜非常新鲜美味，我基本都在captain zack's解决午饭和晚饭，特别是喜欢吃oyster的吃货一定不能错过他们的fried oyster和oyster on half shell。在这里可以敞开吃著名的chincoteague island oyster。
玩：
Chincoteague主要的娱乐活动都在wildlife refuge里面。你可以去钓螃蟹，骑单车，海边嗮太阳，享受沙滩，游泳，或者在沙滩上骑电动车。

昨天才说要写写Chincoteague，结果flyertalk mm已经贴上来了。那我就写写关于在Chincoteague和其他地方租度假屋的经验吧。顺便推荐Chincoteague我们住过的两个度假屋。
去海边的度假小镇我们一般选择租个度假屋，这样朋友可以住在一起，热闹，一起行动也比较方便，还可以做饭。我一般去vacation rental by owner（[url=www.vrbo.com]www.vrbo.com[/url]）上找。选择你要去的目的地和时间，就可以看到相应的度假屋的listing。当然还可以选择房子的大小和相应的设施什么的。上面的房子一般都有照片，很多房子还有游客的评价。我一般会仔细看照片和别人的评价，选出来的房子都不会太差。
1）大多数度假屋到了旺季都要求至少租一周，淡季的时候很多可以按天租，最多要求两三个晚上。好的房子很早就租出去了，旺季往往要提前几个月预订才能定到合适的时间。Chincoteague的著名活动是小马过河（pony swim），每年这个时间人会很多。
2）度假屋里一般都有餐具厨具，可以做饭，适合拖家带口的旅行。
3）淡季或者是last minute还没租出去的房子有时候可以讲价，直接跟房主谈就好了。
Chincoteague去过几次，住过两个度假屋都特别满意。
一个是[url=http://www.vrbo.com/513277]http://www.vrbo.com/513277[/url]，四个房间都有自己的卫生间，还有一个阁楼上的房间小孩特别喜欢。房子很新，很干净整洁。有个covered deck，傍晚烧烤的时候刚好可以看日落，非常美。房子还带电梯，运东西上楼很方便。
另一个是[url=http://www.vrbo.com/243267]http://www.vrbo.com/243267[/url]，这个房子更大，可以住18个人，view非常好。房子带dock，可以停船，也可以划kayak。房子前就可以钓螃蟹。
如果你出游的时候住腻了旅馆，也可以试试度假屋，特别是在这种小镇，别有一番味道。
