i worked for two different bosses for two semesters. i don't like the first one and the second one does not like me. i worked pretty hard for my second boss but it seems that he did not want me to work with him long at the beginning. he just needed a temporary labor for some minor stuff. now he knew that one of his advisees wanted to work with him and decided to accept her instead of me.
i kept choosing my advisor as my first preference for two semesters. well, a guy who made him a second preference got the position finally. our secretary told me that they have to consider profs' preferences first. however, my advisor told me that he was very glad if i can work with him. i feel that there is another story here.
next semester, a new boss~~~~ ,the third boss~~~~

选一个好的advisor太重要了。一天到晚要打交道的，推荐信，发PAPER都得指望他/她。 MM不要心急，慢慢来，会找到合适的。 反正现在不管是不LIKE YOU 或者你不喜欢的都是不合适的，旧的不去新的不来嘛。
