Progressive ask me to change to actual cash value.

I had a car accident, progressive deemed the car irreparable and want to total my car.
my car i claimed cash value 25000 when I purchased the car insurance. now progressive want me to change it to actual cash value.

should I change it?

progressive claim I can get more than 25000 if I change it to actual cash value.

Anyone has the same experience?

Never heard that recent year cars can appreciate in value. New cars usually depreciate in value really fast. I would not believe that actual value can be more than before. You can go to Kelly blue book website to get an estimate.
