因为买了新车，就把老车在craiglist 上卖掉了。买家很爽快，直接给钱要了车，我当时看了他驾照，在加州只是把title 签字 转给他，他也签字了。就结束了。因为DMV太难约难等了，而且那时是周末。
但是之后不断收到过桥费的toll 的信。我之后再打电话给买家他不接电话，短信都不回。打电话再也打不通。留言text 都不回。也不知道他title 转了没有。toll fee 是75刀，现在罚款是250. 直接把title 双方签字的 照片发给过桥公司，说明已经卖车了。但是过桥公司不依不挠，一直要求提供什么DMV stamp的证据，可是我们没有DMV stamp 的证据啊，后来我们也在DMV 网上提交了 卖车的说明。 但是当时没有拍买家的驾照照片。用全名在网上搜到买家的一个地址，应该就是他，填上去，但是不肯定是不是现地址，驾照上的地址也是旧地址。他说他是渔民，也不知道他能不能收到信。
卖个车搞得挺恼火的，现在我们应该怎么处理？如果他一直不转title，怎么办？如果他开车撞人了难道还来找我们吗？请大家支支招。

我卖车也没取过车牌，加州好像默认不取？ 不过哪个title 的表难道不需要双方都填信息吗？ 我怎么记得有啊

加州卖车不用取plate，但是有一联是原车主签字后撕下来寄到Dmv等于告知说这个车我已经卖掉了的。你那联没寄？

The DMV stamp the tolling company was asking about is probably the stamp that DMV stamped it on the release of liability form when you turned it in. I ran into similar situation before. I just sent the release of liability form with the DMV stamp to the agency and towing company then they took care of everything from that point on.

卖车当天应该：

说这种话的都是自己没研究过，以为自己地方的说法可以适用所有地方。正确的做法明明是到自己州的dmv网站看要干什么。。

Go to DMV and ask them to give you a printout showing the date and time they received the form online or maybe you can get such a printout online? I haven't done it online so not sure if they have such a service on their website or not.

把你网上填的转让liability信息打印下来发给公司；同时预约去dmv问问。加州车牌是跟车的。
