申请post-doc或其他类科研工作的，cv里面的research experience，除了写自己phd其间的工作，还能写什么啊？我好像没干过别的啊。

research interests主要是写自己的research philosphy和大框架构想呢，还是应该写得细一些，把自己以前做过的research project都提上一提? 我在网上看到一般faculty的research interests都偏向于前者而且写得很短。但是不知道求职是不是也应该那种模式？

求职的时候是应该把自己的dissertation abstract给对方一份呢，还是连introduction也给上？不用把全本都砸过去吧？这个abstract很短，三百多字，只能让人家知道我做了什么，但是不知道能不能让人家看明白我都用了什么技术。

Maybe you can have one column as 'area of specialities'. you can put all of your skills there.

Also I think in the research exprience, you can decribe what kind of work you have done / or achievement you got. That should be enough to include all of techniques you have used, at least in my field.

For research interests, my understand is to list what you want to do. I will make it match my career goal or what the job wants you to do.

我觉得这个ｒｅｓｅａｒｃｈ　ｉｎｔｅｒｅｓｔｓ很难写，没有那个水平高屋建瓴地谈论研究形势。我在科研方面没什么大志向，平时也很少看自己课题以外的ｐａｐｅｒ，没什么理论积累　平时在学校，我周围的教授和同学一开始谈论什么ｐａｐｅｒ啦科研大方向啦我就心虚

我说的这个不是ｃｖ上的，是除了ｃｖ以外，一些地方还要求写一个ｒｅｓｅａｒｃｈ　ｉｎｔｅｒｅｓｔｓ，一个类似于ｓｔａｔｅｍｅｎｔ的东西。我以前写过ｔｅａｃｈｉｎｇ　ｉｎｔｅｒｅｓｔｓ，那个比较好信口开河。可是这个ｒｅｓｅａｒｃｈ　ｉｎｔｅｒｅｓｔｓ，感觉既要跟现在的东西有关，又不能跟做过的东西重合，所以觉得很难，又找不到什么模式化的东西可以套用的。而且因为是个单独的文件，应该不能只写几句话吧？人家大概就是用这个来考验思想深度的吧。谁能启发启发我啊，呜呜．．．

Then I guess you have to read a lot of recent papers in your field, especially for the big journals, to get some new ideas.

It is a tough one. But a good thing is you can relate them to your current research. Not like when we took our oral qualification exam, we had to propose a project which couldn't have any relation to our dissertation project.

From my point, research interest is what you want to do. This is required by applying to faculty position. If you just want to be a postdoctor, you only need to prepare cover letter, CV and three recommdation. The cover letter should be brief and detailed what you have done before. You can attach the your dissertation abstract not your whole dissertation and your published papers (whole paper) if you have.

If you want to metion about what you want to do in future, please only use one or two sentence to explain them. And these interest is better associated with lab's research which you apply.
