[请教]有没有到香港(旅游+签证)的jms?

在这儿看到好多姐妹都去过香港, 我想夏天也到香港好好逛一下 [em02] [em02] , 顺便在那儿签回美国的证 [em06] [em06] . 不知道最近几个月形势如何? 大家有没有什么经验能提供一下呢?

不能在香港签证的，他们会拒绝受理

为什么要在香港签？不是根据护照上的户口所在地吗？

直接买到香港的机票就可以入境香港。

some people in mitbbs asked that before and I think we can since some people did that...the reason I want to go there is we can stay there 7 days without hongkong entry visa... you can just walk into the US embassy without an appointment...

my home is not in beijing and I hate the complex procedures in beijing US embassy....

我的一个朋友就在HK签过，不过是3、4年前了

I asked the US consulate in HK before, the answer was not very optimistic. They said that people from mainland can apply for US visa in HK, but the chances of approval is smaller than applying in mainland China, because:

1. they have the same standard for mainland chinese as the other US consulates in mainland china;

2. it is suspicous why one don't go back home for visa application.

So, it is not impossible, but a little risky.
