traveling to Canana???

I will go to Montreal for several days(not for visa application), and come back on the first day my H-1B starts. I will drive there.

My question: is there anything risky with this plan? Thanks.

I guess it is the snow driving the greatest risk. Better make good preparation. Canadian high way is not as good as USA's.
