One more question
The immigration lawyer in my company just told me that I can't traveling out of the country (I planned to go to Canada, just travel for me). Right now my status is on OPT and approved H-1B will start from March 1,2005.

Is that true? what's the risk?

That will be pretty risky for refusal of entry, to my understanding.
