大家指点一下，偶正准备跟老板谈phd毕业的时间，毕业后准备找工作，不太想做postdoc，听说现在因为H1名额的问题要慎重考虑毕业时间，要不然会出现opt用完后还没有H1名额的情况，是这样的吗？
有人又说opt可以1年半，应该没问题，到底哪个对呢？

I don't think working as postdoc falls into the H-1B quota limit. Researching in higher education, working for non profit orgs,...those are all exempt from quota limitation.

yes, I know, but the problem is I don't want to look for a postdoc, I meant a job in industry
