In 1993, in order to gain career advance, I joined Communist Party as an entry-level member. This was a requirement to become a team leader in every aspect of society back in China, because enrollment in Communist Party was the most important way to show one’s excellence in both professional skills and leadership.

But since Jan 2013 when I retired from xxx, I have cut the tie to the party by neither participating any related activities, nor paying the membership due. According to the party chapter of Communist Party, my membership was considered as null and void after six successive months of disconnecting to the party. Therefore, I’ve been unrelated to Communist Party since July 2013.
