I think it's really depends, some arts major,like education, they don't get paid during internship, but others,like finacial, acturial or sthg like that,they have good paid, my friend did her intern in a big company,which she stayed for her full-time work, she's even paid higher in intern rather than full-time job, because she doesn't have to pay tax, but anyway, payment in intern varies in major.that's true.
